Introduction

The K-Series optical cameras are accurate optical motion measurement systems suitable for measuring the 3D positions of multiple targets in space. These portable systems can be used anywhere for high accuracy position and deformation measurements of suspensions, wheels, doors, landing gears, concrete structures etc. Typical applications where the K-Series Optical CMM is put to work are door slam testing, door closure process analysis and optimization (for both sliding and pivoting doors), trunk cover closure analysis and window closing process analysis.

Concept

The K-series camera is composed out of 3 high resolution linear CCD's that track up to 256 individual 3D targets on an object. The targets are active IR leds. An individual target will return a 3D position in time, three or multiple targets will result in a 6D position in time.
